Eddie is a Financial Planning Intern at Foundry Financial. He is a senior at California State University, Fullerton, earning a BBA in Finance while completing the CFP Board-Registered Financial Planning Program. A Business Honors member representing the top 1% of business students, Eddie graduates in May 2027 with his CFP Board coursework complete and plans to sit for the CFP® exam.
As Co-President of CSUF's Financial Planning Association student chapter, Eddie helped triple average meeting attendance and financial planning certificate enrollment, and he attends FPA and CFP Board events. Before joining Foundry, he interned in compliance and executive wealth planning. At Foundry, Eddie is eager to bring his background in both financial planning and operations to the team, supporting the planning process and helping build onboarding processes and workflows that make the experience smoother for clients in and approaching retirement.
Outside of work, Eddie loves the beach, especially Balboa Pier in Newport Beach. After ten years in the Midwest, the novelty hasn't worn off. He enjoys traveling with family, trying new taco spots, and searching for SoCal barbecue that can stand up to Kansas City's. He also enjoys video games with friends and watching football, especially when the Chiefs play.

Financial planning stands out to me as a unique intersection between technical work and personal connection, where the analysis is never one-size-fits-all because every client's situation is different. I love the idea of using problem solving and communication skills to help people feel more comfortable about their lives, in a career that never stops being interesting.
People who have spent a lifetime saving have a lot to be proud of, but it's natural to want extra help as you transition from saving to spending. That's why I'm excited to support our team's advisors in creating financial plans that bring clarity and confidence.
