I started Foundry because I got tired of seeing people get steered in the wrong direction by financial companies more interested in selling them products than helping them solve real problems.

When my dad died, my family learned firsthand how confusing and overwhelming all the decisions can be—and how hard it is to find someone you can really trust for honest advice. That experience stuck with me.

I set out to build a firm where people can get real answers, not a sales pitch. Where it’s normal to take your time, ask questions, and get explanations in plain English.

Our goal here is simple: give people the same careful, thoughtful advice we’d want for our own families. We use all the research and tools the big firms use, but we keep things straightforward and open. No commissions. No surprises.
