Elena Dunn
Elena joined Foundry Financial in the summer of 2025 as a financial planning associate. She is an incoming senior in the Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder, where she’s earning a BS in Business Administration with dual emphases in Personal Financial Planning and Accounting. She is also earning a minor in Music. The coursework she’s completed thus far, combined with the real-world applications and observations she’s experienced through her internships over the previous two summers, enable her to add value to the team in the form of curiosity and new perspectives. A goal of hers is to earn both the CPA license and CFP® certification, and she is planning to study and sit for the exams after she graduates in the spring of 2026.
Outside of the classroom at CU, she’s involved in the Leeds Scholars Program, the Financial Planning Club, Mile 21 A Cappella, Music Industry Club, and Leeds’ Dean’s Student Cabinet. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, reading adventure/fantasy/mystery novels, and partaking in stereotypical Colorado-native activities (going to Red Rocks concerts, and wearing her Melanzana while skiing, mountain biking, or summiting Fourteeners).
